sacks from L&T Technology Services Maharashtra’s Rs 800 crore cybersecurity plan

<p>On Friday, L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) said that it has been awarded a cybersecurity program by the Maharashtra state cyber department, valued at around $100 million (roughly Rs 800 crore). This is the first of its type in India.</p>

<p>In order to improve public cyber safety and awareness, LTTS announced that it would open an artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) driven cybersecurity and digital threat analytics center in the state.</p>
<p>Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of LTTS, stated, “It is an opportunity to leverage our experience in setting up over 25 command centers and recognising the growing criticality of cybersecurity and the need to invest in advanced digital safeguard platforms and tools for the benefit of the larger society.”</p>
<p>Under this project, LTTS will provide cutting-edge cyber security solutions to the state in collaboration with KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services, a forensics partner.</p>
<p>A central emergency response team (CERT) will also be part of the program to handle incident response and investigation using cutting-edge cyber threat information and analytics.</p>
